CHARITABLE folk are being invited to enjoy a cuppa and a slice of cake cake.
The Rotary Club of Rugby is holding an afternoon tea on Sunday June 25 at the Hillmorton Ex Service Men’s Club.
The fundraiser, running from 3pm to 5pm, is in aid of the club’s Purple4Polio campaign which funds vaccinations for children across the globe.
Club president Ken Ure said: “The club has been running its Purple4polio campaign for 30 years with over 2.5 million children receiving vaccinations thanks to the help of Rotary.
“And with the support of Tiptree Jam and Typhoo Tea, there are tea parties being held all over the country by fellow Rotary Clubs.”
