AN INTERNATIONAL-selling artist will showcase her ‘modern and abstract’ approach to botanical painting when she exhibits her work at Rugby Art Gallery and Museum’s Floor One Gallery.
Florabunda is an exhibition of recent work by Angela Stanbridge, with a particular focus on flowers.
Angela has recently had work selected for the Society of Botanical Artists Annual Exhibition in London, and has previously held solo exhibitions at Charles Rennie Mackintosh House and Galleries in Northampton.
Angela said: “Each of us has the choice of simply seeing a flower or something much more. I love to take a flower and enhance its drama, which can allow you to view it in a completely different way.”
The exhibition runs from Saturday (February 10) to Thursday February 22 (Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm, Sundays 10am-4pm). Meet the artist days take place on Saturday February 10 (12-3pm), Thursday February 15 and Wednesday February 21 (10.30am-3pm).
