Gary Allcock Quartet set for debut Corner Pocket Jazz Club gig

THE Gary Allcock Quartet are next up at the Corner Pocket Jazz Club on Tuesday, 8.

It will be a debut performance at the club for the Midlands man who was inspired to play the drums by big band drumming greats Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa and Louie Bellson while in his early teens.

Since then he has dabbled in swing, big band, small group, mainstream and modern jazz over the course of his lengthy career.

Tickets to see his quartet at the CSFPA Club on Fleet Street, Coventry cost £6 with doors opening at 7.30pm.
