A NEW musical theatre group makes its debut on Tuesday (March 20) with an all-singing, all-dancing West End and Broadway smash.
Interesting Theatre will stage a six-show run of Sister Act at Avon Valley School’s theatre.
Show director Alan Pavis said: “We’ve brought together some very special talent from all over the region for Sister Act – from Coventry, Leamington, Market Harborough and Birmingham, as well as from Rugby.
“They’ve been working incredibly hard with choreographer Sophie Jones and musical director Jon Watson on what is a fabulously lively and uplifting show.”
Sister Act is based on the hit film starring Whoopi Goldberg, and features gospel songs written by Alan Menken – the man behind Disney hits such as The Little Mermaid and Aladdin.
The cast features Leah Vassell in the lead role of Deloris, with Kathy Evans as Mother Superior, Daisy Jones as Sister Mary Robert and Ash Bright as Curtis Jackson.
