A WELL-known actor has been drafted in to stop drivers behaving badly on Warwickshire’s roads.
Martin Clunes, of Men Behaving Badly and Doc Martin fame, narrates a new video aimed at helping the county’s drivers brush up on their knowledge of the Highway Code.
The video, created by Co-Pilot and RoadSafe, is targeted at drivers with three or more years of independent driving experience.
It covers key areas such as pedestrian and cyclist priority at junctions, the hierarchy of road users, cyclist riding positions and overtaking vulnerable road users.
Warwickshire County Council’s transport spokesperson, Coun Jan Matecki, said: “Road safety is a top priority for Warwickshire County Council. This new video provides an accessible and engaging way for experienced drivers to refresh their knowledge of the Highway Code and improve their road safety awareness. By understanding and respecting the rules of the road, we can all contribute to creating safer roads for everyone.”
