ARMED police descended on Brownsover yesterday (Wednesday August 9) as a precaution after receiving reports of a man with a cut to his neck.
Officers were called at around 2.15pm and found the 60-year-old’s injuries were ‘not life threatening or changing’. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Investigations are underway to try to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
