POLICE are hunting armed robbers who struck at a Rugby store.

Two balaclava-wearing men targeted the One Stop Convenience Store in Frobisher Road at around 5.50am on Sunday (November 4). It is believed one of the robbers had a handgun although it is not known if it was real or imitation.

It has not been reported if any staff were threatened or injured during the robbery.

Both of the men were black and both of stocky build. One was around 5ft 10 inches tall, and wearing dark clothing with a hood up, and a full face balaclava and gloves. The second robber was about 5ft 7 inches tall, and was also wearing dark clothing, which had a Nike tick motif on the left hand chest. He also had his hood up and was also wearing a full face balaclava.

Police are appealing for witnesses, and extra officers are in the area as enquiries continue.

Any witnesses should call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting reference 77 041118 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
