A MUCH-loved staff member at a Rugby care home has received an award for two decades of loyal service.
Margarita Akalyskaya, Team Leader within the care team at Overslade House Care Home, has been given a Long Service Award in celebration of working for Barchester Healthcare for 20 years.
Margarita started at Barchester as a carer in August 2001, and has worked with residents and their relatives ever since.
Violeta Baesu, Senior General Manager of Overslade House, said: “We’re delighted to be celebrating 20 years of loyal service with Margarita. She has demonstrated her dedication and loyalty to this home and its residents year after year.
“I speak for all of us here at Overslade House when I say that I’m looking forward to many more years of working with Margarita!”
Overslade House resident John Allwood was full of praise for Margarita, saying: “She keeps me active with daily walks, and makes life fun with her chats.”
Fellow resident Joan Warner added: “Margarita is always attentive to my needs and truly cares.”
Jane McFarlane, Employee Services Director at Barchester said: “I’m always pleased to hear stories about the long service of Barchester staff and am delighted Margarita has achieved this milestone. It is dedication like this that ensures our residents are provided with a happy place to live.”
