Big-hearted Lutterworth kids treat residents to seasonal serenade

BIG-hearted kids from a Lutterworth primary school choir hit all the right notes when they treated residents to a seasonal serenade.

Around 65 children from John Wycliffe Primary School were invited to sing carols around the Christmas tree at Mulberry Homes’ Kingsbury Park development in Lutterworth.

The children were visited by Father Christmas, who gave each of them a gift.

After singing a number of carols and delighting onlookers, they were visited by Father Christmas who gave each of them a gift.

Imogen Baynes, choir leader at John Wycliffe Primary School, said: “All our children absolutely loved performing at Mulberry Homes. It was so welcoming and such a festive experience. The children loved their special visitor – a fantastic night for all!”

Kerry Jones, Sales and Marketing Director at Mulberry Homes, said: “It was lovely to see the children from John Wycliffe Primary School perform at our development, we hope they enjoyed their visit and gift from Santa Claus.”

The housebuilder is running a monthly community fund, called Quintessentially Community Focused. Charities and public organisations local to its developments are invited to apply to receive a one-off donation of up to £1,000. Each month, a judging panel will select a beneficiary to secure the funding.
