Bin collections in Rugby to resume today

BIN collections – apart from green waste collections – have resumed today (Wednesday 27 January) after being suspended for the last two days.

Rugby Borough Council has confirmed that black-bin rubbish, blue-lid recycling, bulky waste and trade waste collections have resumed.

Black-bin rubbish and blue-lid recycling collections missed on Monday and Tuesday will be collected between today and Saturday (January 30).

Green garden waste collections remain suspended.

A council spokesperson said services had been suspended due to the heightened risk of slips and falls, and the need to prevent unnecessary demand on NHS services caused by accidents.
