A GANG of hooded teens threatened to hurt a 12-year-old boy if he didn’t steal for them.

The boy was left scared and shaken after the incident, which occurred on Thursday (November 27) between 3.45pm and 4pm on the footpath behind Tesco on Leicester Road as he was walking home from school.

He was approached by a group of 16 to 17-year-old boys wearing hooded tracksuits, who threatened to harm him if he didn’t steal an item from Tesco.

The store’s staff were later alerted of the incident and nobody was injured.
