A BRASS ensemble will perform in St Andrew’s Church this weekend, in the latest of the church’s series of Cream Tea Concerts.
The Quartet Menine is a dynamic brass ensemble featuring some of London’s most promising young brass players, who regularly work with the London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, and the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
The quartet have gone on to perform their own arrangements and new commissions in recitals around the UK to much acclaim, as well performing at Wigmore Hall and the Royal Overseas League Music Competition.
They will perform a varied programme including music by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Debussy and Imogen Heap.
The recital starts at 3pm on Sunday (September 25), followed by a cream tea.
Tickets are £10, or £5 for the concert only. Cream teas must be booked in advance via www.eventbrite.com/e/cream-tea-concert-with-quartet-menine-tickets-399486844907, emailing [email protected], or calling 01788 565609.
