Busy bee Hannah heading to Canada

Rugby Editorial 21st Aug, 2023   0

A NURSERY worker from Rugby has been selected to embark on a prestigious international talent exchange programme to Canada.

Hannah Chamberlain, senior room manager at Busy Bees Rugby, will join 30 colleagues from across the globe on a journey to Calgary, Alberta, in September.

There she will spend three weeks working within a local Busy Bees nursery, exploring the latest global trends in childcare and early years education, and collaborating on innovative projects.

Hannah said: “I can’t wait to get out to Canada to meet the other Busy Bees from around the world.

“I particularly want to talk to the other educators about how they support children with special educational needs and behavioural management concerns as this is my area of specialism, assisting families with information, referrals and guidance.”

The all-expenses paid trip will together colleagues from across Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand from September 25 to October 13, with Hannah being one of five employees from the UK selected for this year’s programme.

Busy Bees Ooperations director Matt Labaki said Hannah had been chosen in recognition of her passion and dedication.

He added: “Hannah is an excellent example of our Busy Bees values, always looking to do more for our families. For example, she has recently supported families with their children’s autism assessments and diagnosis, both within the Rugby centre and other centres in the region, learning how other counties processes their paperwork.”
