AN adoptee is appealing for help in tracing her birth mother, Mabel May Foster.
Mabel was born in 1940, and her last known address was Oxford Street in Rugby. It is believed she had a brother named George, and children including Lynn Maxine Foster (b. 1962 at Warneford Hospital, Leamington), a boy born in 1959 and a girl who passed away aged 14 months on February 21 1962.
Mabel and Lynn are believed to have moved to a hostel on Guild Street, Stratford upon Avon. Lynn was was placed in care on February 20 1962.
Mabel was 22 when she had Lynn, and is believed to have been a milk round lady, possibly connected with Rugby School.
