A CHARITY fashion show hits the catwalk in Leamington next month

The Bodies & Co annual charity fashion will once again be looking to raise thousands of pounds for local causes.

The event, which features more than 50 models, as well as singers and dancers, takes place at the Spa Centre on Thursday and Friday April 16 and 17.

The evening will feature fashions from local independent shops as well as from national retail chains and will showcase fashions for young and older.

“The runway will come alive with glamour, creativity and heart, as we come together to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most,” said organiser Jenni Fuller.

“This fabulous event will showcase the latest collections and proceeds will be going to The Esther Project, The Friendship Project and The Samaritans.

“In addition to attending, there will be opportunities to donate directly to the cause and take part in raffles for incredible prizes! There will be something for everybody so I urge people to come out for an unforgettable night of fashion, fun and giving back.

“As well as the team, I would like to thank all those companies who are sponsoring the event and all those who have advertised in the show programme. The show is often sold out very quickly with nearly 1,500 seats sold over the two nights this year is already on track to do the same.”

Last year Jenni was made a ‘Warwickshire ChangeMaker’, by Warwickshire High Sheriff Karen Lynch, in recognition of her work with the fashion show, which since 1979 has raised £500,000.

Karen said: “Her unwavering commitment, creativity, and community spirit have made this event a fixture in the local calendar, drawing support from volunteers and audiences alike.”

Tickets are £17 and are available from Jenni by calling 07873 460185.
