CHEEKY children at a Rugby nursery helped to raise £100 for Comic Relief on Red Nose Day.

Kids and staff at Daisykins Nursery did something funny for money when they were visited by mascot Bluey, who joined the older children for painting and drawing sessions while toddlers and babies explored a Comic Relief themed sensory tray.

A bake sale, a lucky dip and online donations helped the nursery to reach the three-figure total.

Nursery Manager Natalie Moran said: “It was wonderful to see all of the children’s excited faces when they discovered all of the amazing activities prepared by our nursery practitioners in aid of such an important cause – the visit from Bluey being the absolute highlight of everyone’s day.

“Thank you to everyone who helped us to support this cause at Daisykins Nursery.”
