A FESTIVE sing-along will take place in Rugby a week before Christmas Day.
The Big Christmas Sing, which takes place at the Benn Hall on Sunday December 18, will feature a 50 strong choir and some of Rugby’s top vocalists.
The Big Sing Choir will lead the concert, performing songs from their established repertoire, plus many some festive favourites.
The choir has won several accolades, including reaching the final of Rugby’s Got Talent 2022 where they delivered a performance which provided the inspiration for The Big Christmas Sing.
They will be joined on stage by local singer-songwriters Kieran Taylour and Becki Morgan, both of whom will perform with the choir and as soloists. A further guest artist is also due to be announced.
Father Christmas will be the guest of honour, and the event will culminate in a finale which organisers say everyone will want to sing along with.
Event organiser David Head said: “It’s been a difficult year so we have been determined to bring some festive fun to Rugby with this new event.
“The choir brings an amazing big harmony sound and, coupled with some of the town’s best vocalists, this is going to be a night to remember.”
