A CHOIR has boosted Myton Hospice to the tune of £725 after raising the money by raising the roof at this year’s Rugby Festival of Culture.
Rugby Community Choir handed over a cheque to the charity earlier this month.
The choir raised the money when they performed a special tenth anniversary show at Rugby Baptist Church during the festival.
Myton has hospices in Rugby, Coventry and Warwick. Last year it supported more than 1,800 people and their families in its hospices, via patient and family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.
The charity needs to raise £9.6million this year from donations and support from local communities to continue providing its free services.
