BIN collection schedules for the Christmas period have been announced by Rugby Borough Council.
There will be no garden waste collections during the weeks beginning December 23 and December 30, to allow black general waste and blue-lid recycling bins to be emptied at all households.
Black and blue-lid bin collections due on Christmas Day (Wednesday December 25) will instead take place on Saturday December 21, and collections due on Boxing Day (Thursday December 26) will take place on Saturday December 28.
All other black rubbish and blue-lid recycling collections will take place on their normal day, including on New Year’s Day (Wednesday January 1).
The council offices at the Town Hall will be closed to visitors from 5pm on Tuesday December 24 until 9am on Thursday January 2.
