BIN collections in Rugby have been rescheduled for the Christmas and New Year period.
The annual suspension of the garden waste collection service will last for two weeks, starting from Monday December 24 and lasting until Friday January 4. Subscribers to this service who have provided an email address will be emailed with details of how their collections will be affected.
Black-lid rubbish bin and blue-lid recycling bin collections due on Christmas Day and Boxing Day will be rescheduled for Saturday December 22 and Saturday December 29 respectively. Affected households will have their bins tagged.
All other waste collections will remain as scheduled, including on New Year’s Day. Bins should be ready for collection by 7:30am, as normal.
Rugby Borough Council has also announced that its offices will close at 5pm on Christmas Eve and reopen at 9am on Wednesday January 2.
