JEREMY Corbyn will be hitting the campaign trail in Rugby on Saturday (November 3).
He will visit the Rugby Indian Association in Edward Street at 1.15pm to discuss how the Labour Party wants to ‘transform the local area’.
Publicity for the event states: “Come and support Dr Debbie Bannigan, your local candidate, meet like-minded people and get the training you need to help a Labour government win the next election.”
Mr Corbyn said after the last general election in June 2017 that his party must continue to campaign in marginal seats across the UK and prepare for a fresh vote at any time.
He was due to visit Rugby just four days before the 2017 election, but cancelled in the wake of the London Bridge terror attack.
Limited spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Visit http://events.labour.org.uk/event/258717 for more information and to book a place.
