Council asks Lutterworth residents what is most important to them

Rugby Editorial 27th Nov, 2021   0

RESIDENTS of the Lutterworth area are being invited to tell their district council about their aspirations and priorities for the community.

Harborough District Council (HDC) has launched a survey asking for comments on a range of topics with the aim of improving facilities and wellbeing, and creating more opportunities across the Harborough district.

The survey asks residents to rank how they feel about community safety, sport, recreation, and parks, job opportunities, sustainability, health and wellbeing, and more. Residents can also add their own comments or make other suggestions.

The council wants to identify what is most important to residents to help focus its priorities over the next few years.

HDC leader Coun Phil King said: “This is a unique opportunity for residents of all ages across the Harborough district to give the Council their feedback about what matters most to them in their locality.

“The results of the survey will help us move forward with our plans to make Harborough district cleaner and greener, as well as improve facilities and prioritise our resources to benefit the whole district.”

The survey will be shared with youth and community groups, parishes, and disability groups. The Council will also be out with the Rural Community Council to promote the survey in areas across the district.

The survey is anonymous and takes around 20 minutes to complete. It will close on January 31. The findings will be published on the council’s website next spring. Visit www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/engagementconsultation to take part.
