COVENTRY and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) has been commended for its commitment to employee health and wellbeing.
CWPT has achieved the Thrive at Work Bronze Award – a workplace commitment with criteria for creating a workplace that promotes employee health and wellbeing.
The Trust met the bronze standard for Thrive at Work accreditation in all four areas – enablers of health, mental health, musculoskeletal, and lifestyles.
Findings from the accreditation report found that senior management prioritised employee health and wellbeing, and interviews with 31 employees demonstrated a belief that this is embedded into the ethos of the organisation.
Jason Emerson, Chief People Officer at CWPT, said: “We’re delighted to achieve this accreditation. The people at the heart of CWPT are what enable us to deliver great care, and it is important that our colleagues know the support that is available to them and feel comfortable and encouraged to access it whenever it is needed.
“As an organisation, we care for our colleagues as much as they care for others and will continue to develop our offer to ensure everyone can thrive at CWPT.”
