CREATIVE Rugbeians are inviting shoppers to shop locally this Christmas.
The Alexandra Art – the former Alexandra Arms pub in James Street – is showcasing gifts by local artists and makers through a series of open days running until December 18.
On Thursdays from 4-8pm, local artists will be exhibiting and demonstrating, accompanied by local musicians.
On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays artists will be selling gifts and holding workshops to demonstrate how to make seasonal items, while drinks and festive treats are served in the cafe.
The venue is planning more events and exhibitions in 2023.
