Dancers limbering up for Spring Fair

DANCERS from Impact Dance have been added to the bill of Bank Holiday Monday’s Rotary Spring Fair, and are making final preparations for their performances.

Founder Hayley James said: “We have had a great time at the Spring Fair for several years now and are looking forward to entertaining the crowds again this year. We are very grateful to Rotary for this opportunity to perform in front of a large audience and for the support we have received.”

Rotary’s project lead for the event Laurence Wilbraham said: “This year we will have a mix of popular returning attractions as well as a number of new ones which we hope will provide entertainment for all of the family.

“New in the arena will be K9 Quackers – watching dogs herd geese should be a laugh!”

Another new feature will be the Animal Petting Farm, where visitors will be able to meet a pony, donkey, alpacas, bottle-fed lambs, rabbits, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, tortoises, a bearded dragon, chickens and chicks, ducks, owls and anything else the team from Home Grown and Raised will have available at that time.

The children’s area will have bouncy castles, slides and zorbs.

Visit www.rotaryspringfair.co.uk for details of the arena programme, or to book discounted tickets in advance.

The fair takes place on Monday May 7 at Whitehall Recreation Ground.
