‘DELIGHTED’ pupils at a Rugby primary school are exploring new stories thanks to a donation of books.
Brownsover Community School received £360 of new books from staff at Ardagh Metal Packaging’s Rugby plant.
The company made the donation in support of a local school to mark International Day of Education.
The books were presented to the school in person by Ardagh Plant Coordinator Paula-Marie Courtney and apprentice Ellie Hobson.
Headteacher Elisa Basnett said: “We take great pride in our reading-focused environment and are very grateful for the generous donation of books, which will greatly enhance our newly refurbished library.
“Our children were delighted to receive a selection of books, which have provided a wide range of new and exciting titles for the children to explore. They are already proving very popular, with children planning which ones they want to read next.”
