FIRES broke out at the Cemex plant in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday November 5).

Warwickshire Fire and Rescue received reports of an incident in one of the 70 metre towers on the site just after 2am.

Eight fire engines and up to 50 firefighters were on site at the height of the incident.

They found multiple fires in the tower, believed to have been caused by a machine fault.

The fires were extinguished and no injuries were reported.
