A DRIVER was forced off the road after leading police on a chase out of Rugby.
The pursuit began at around 11am yesterday (Monday November 4) when a Saab drove off after officers tried to speak to its occupants.
Police chased the car out of Rugby on the A428 before forcing it off the road on the A45 due to the high risk to the driver and the public.
In the early hours of this morning (Tuesday November 5) a 17-year-old male from Rugby was charged with dangerous driving, driving without a licence or insurance, and possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
He was also charged with driving without insurance or a licence following an incident on October 17. He was remanded in custody and will appear in court today.
