Early morning lorry fire on M6 took hours to put out

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a lorry ablaze on the M6 in the early hours of Tuesday (July 3) morning.

At around 3am crews from Rugby, Nuneaton, Bedworth and Coleshill tackled the HGV fire between Junction 2 and 1 of the southbound M6.

It took around four hours to put out the blaze.
