AN ELDERLY man was assaulted by a gang of youths in a Lutterworth park on Monday (July 1).
The 76-year-old victim was walking his dog through the recreation ground in Coventry Road at around 3.35pm when he came across a group of teenage boys who were kicking a bin.
He asked them to stop and, as he walked away, he was pushed to the ground and kicked.
He sustained a cut to his head but didn’t require hospital treatment.
The suspects have been described as being between 14-16 years old. One of them was wearing a black tracksuit, trainers and a gold necklace.
