A CHARITY will raise funds to help Rugby’s homeless at a fashion show later this month.
Hope4 will host the show at its Newbold Road HQ on Thursday September 27 from 7.30pm, showcasing fashion from Dorothy Perkins, White Stuff, New Look, Evans, Monsoon and more.
Hampers from Fortnum and Masons will be up for grabs in a raffle, while volunteers Pat Bentley and Sue Findley will provide cakes and refreshments.
Tickets costing £8 each – including a glass of bubbly and a goodie bag – are available on the door, or in advance from [email protected].
All proceeds will go to Hope4 to help poorly housed and homeless people in Rugby.
HOPE4 will also open its doors on Wednesday October 10 – World Homeless Day – to showcase the renovation of part of its HQ, including a new clinic.
The project was funded by a lottery grant, topped up with donations from fund-raisers and benefactors.
The charity and its 300-plus volunteers will open the Winter Shelter from December 1 to March 31, when one of seven locations in the town will provide meals and a warm place to sleep for homeless people during freezing temperatures.
