A FEELGOOD musical comedy is taking to the stage in Rugby later this month.
Five Star Theatre’s production of 9 to 5: The Musical features actors and crew from across Warwickshire and Leicestershire.
Featuring music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, the show is set in the late 70s and follows co-workers Judy, Violet and Doralee, who hatch a plan to get rid of their hated boss – and give the company a dream makeover once he has gone.
Songs featured in the show include 9 to 5, Get Out and Stay Out, and Let Love Grow.
A Five Star Theatre spokesman said: “This larger-than-life musical comedy features stunning choreography, gorgeous costuming and beautiful songs, all performed by some of the finest talent from across the local area.”
The show follows on from Five Star Theatre’s productions of Sister Act and Oliver! earlier this year.
