A FESTIVE fleet of fairy-lit tractors will spread Christmas cheer around the Lutterworth area when they head out on the annual Archers Festive Tractor Run on Sunday (December 17).
For the fourth year running, the convoy of around 300 brightly-decorated tractors will take to the streets of South Leicestershire to raise money for local good causes.
They will start in Lutterworth at 4:15pm and then tour a circuit of surrounding towns and villages, including Dunton Bassett, Cosby, Whetstone, Blaby and Gilmorton, before heading back to Lutterworth.
Organisers hope to raise £30,000, which will be split evenly between the Rainbows children’s hospice in Loughborough, and the Leicestershire MS Therapy Centre, the LOROS hospice and Wishes 4 Kids charity, which are all based in Leicester.
