FIVE MEN have been arrested after two men were stabbed in Rugby.
Three 21-year-olds from Rugby, together with an 18-year-old from the town, and a 21-year-old from Coventry were taken into custody after police were called to a disturbance in Clifton Road around 4.30pm on Friday.
Offivers found a 17-year-old boy and 18-year-old man with stab wounds. The victims were taken to hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be serious.
All of the men were arrested nearby a short time later. Four of them were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
The 18-year-old was arrested on suspicion of committing a public order offence. He was also wanted for breach of a court order and was detained on this matter.
The suspects remain in police custody.
Police are appealing for anyone with information, who witnessed the incident or has dash cam footage from the area to get in touch.
