A FORMER art teacher is showcasing his skills at a new exhibition.
John Hunt – who worked in many Warwickshire schools, including Lawrence Sheriff – has opened his fourth solo exhibition at Rugby Art Gallery and Museum.
His work has previously been on display at the Rugby Open exhibition and around the region as part of the Association of Midland Artists.
He said: “I cannot readily describe the work on show – visitors will need to see for themselves.
“It has been carried out by me during the last seven years and consists mostly of oil paintings on canvas, plus some work in water based medium.
“This exhibition is intended to demonstrate to my friends that I’ve not been wasting my time!”
The exhibition runs until Thursday February 6 at the Little Elborow Street venue’s Floor One Gallery.
