Fuel thief dragged petrol station employee along ground with car

A FUEL thief dragged a petrol station employee along the ground with his car as she tried to intervene.

Police received reports of a VW Golf leaving a petrol station on the Fosse Way near Stretton on Fosse without paying at around 12.35pm on Tuesday May 28.

A member of staff was cut and bruised when she was dragged along by the car.

Warwickshire Police would like to speak to the man pictured, as it’s believed he may have information which could assist with enquiries.




Anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the man pictured is asked to call Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 142 of May 28 – or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
