MYTON Hospice boosted its coffers with a colourful fun day, raising enough money to pay for 90 hours of specialist nursing care.
The day was organised by Rugby Myton Day Hospice and Rugby Myton at Home staff as part of the Take 50 Challenge, which gives teams 50 days to turn £50 into as much as possible.
The total amount raised was a huge £2,255.40.
Helen Siddaway, who leads Rugby’s Myton at Home service and helped organise the event, said: “We had a fantastic time and are thrilled with the incredible amount raised.
“We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along and to all those who gave up their time to volunteer.
“The amount raised will be used towards funding our hospices in Rugby, Coventry and Warwick.”
