ACROBATS on horseback will be among the new attractions on show at this year’s Rotary Rugby Spring Fair.

Riders and horses from the Galloping Acrobats will perform tricks for the crowd during the event at Whitehall Recreation Ground, which has been one of the town’s biggest annual events for 38 years, regularly attracting up to 10,000 visitors.

Rugby Area Talent Trust (RATT) will also be providing five hours of live music from young local artists on a special stage in the north-east corner of the park.

Acts include Macey Quinn, Tom Cowan, Lois Arrow and Ellen Goodwin, Flo Bannigan, Lewis Graham, Emily Goodwin, Dirty Jazz Jukebox, Lawrence Sheriff Jazz Band and Anya Lang.

Rugby Lionesses, Jaide’s Stage Studios, G Force Martial Arts and birds of prey will also perform in the public arena.

There will be a full fairground, charity and specialist stalls, food stalls, and plenty of opportunity for family fun.

The fair takes place on Bank Holiday Monday from 11.30am-5pm. Proceeds go to local charities.
