A GLOBAL outlook has earned Southam College an award.
The college received an International Schools Award from the British Council for its cultural values and focus on world issues.
Education at the college incorporates aspects of multiculturalism including activities on theme days such as Chinese New Year, International Day of Languages and World Kindness Day.
Pupils have been treated to overseas trips to destinations including Iceland, Lithuania, Germany, Spain, France, the USA, Ghana and battlefields in France and Belgium.
A spokesperson for the college said: “Southam College is committed to learning more about global issues, celebrating the rich and diverse heritage represented in communities throughout the globe, respecting and valuing different cultures and beliefs and enjoying contact with international individuals.
“We are so pleased that all students and staff have pulled together to make the accreditation possible. We look forward to even more exciting international projects in the future.”
