GOLFERS teed off for charity.

Ullesthorpe Golf Club raised over £1,400 for charity when they hosted 21 teams on their Captains’ Charity Day.

The Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Birmingham Children’s Hospital will benefit from the teams’ efforts which saw ‘The Wagglers’ score first place.

Lady Captain Elaine Watkins said: “The club was buzzing with activity at the start of the event with people testing their skills in a warm up putting competition. Everyone was incredibly generous and we are delighted with the final total raised.”
