HARRIS Church of England Academy celebrated ‘unprecedented success’ in its GCSE results – the school’s best ever results from an external exam season.
Almost 75 per cent of students achieved at least a Grade 4 in English, Maths and Science, with 70 per cent securing above a Grade 4 in English and Maths – and over half receiving a Grade 5 or above in both subjects.
Over 32 per cent of students scored above a Grade 7 in either English Literature or English Language.
Headteacher Roberta Harrison said: “Our students’ hard work and dedication has led to such superb results, and we are all very proud of them. This success is record breaking and is a deserved reward for the commitment of students and staff over the academic year.
“We are a Christian school living out our ethos: ‘whilst we have time, let us do good to all’. I’m so pleased that our students have the very best start to the next stage of their lives.”
