HILLMORTON is warming up for Christmas.
Members of the community gathered at English Martyrs Church to witness the switch-on of the lights on the community Christmas tree.
Local schoolchildren decorated the tree with their own recycled decorations, while the Hillmorton Community Choir sang carols and volunteers from The Friends of East Rugby Group (FERG) handed out mince pies and winter-warmer drinks.
Donations of food, toiletries and spare change were taken for the Hope4 homelessness charity and the local food bank.
