A KIND 12-year-old has had her long locks cut off and donated to a charity which makes wigs for youngsters who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses.
Grace Colledge, a Year 7 student at Avon Valley School, braved the chop and sent her hair to the Little Princess Trust.

The school’s head teacher Alison Davies said: “It is always nice to see young people doing kind things for others. Our students raise a lot of money for a range of good cause through activities organised by the school.
“However, some students, like Grace, support charities through their own initiative which demonstrates their generous nature and shows thoughtfulness.
“Grace’s new hair cut suits her and I hope she is proud that her donation may help someone in difficult circumstances.”
