A KIND kid moved out of her comfort zone when she decided to raise money for charity by riding 30 miles on her bike.
Milly Ogburn-Storey, 12, from Cawston, set herself a challenge of riding as far as she could over six hours to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
The Rugby High School pupil hit her distance target of 30 miles – and more than doubled her fund-raising target of £200.
Dad Simon Storey said: “Milly came to me saying that she would like to do a cycle challenge for charity. Milly doesn’t ride her bike much so this is completely out of her comfort zone, so it is not an easy challenge for her.
“She decided she wanted to raise money for the British heart Foundation, purely because it’s a good thing to do for a good cause – how admirable.
“I am proud beyond words to say she has so far raised £450, this after setting her fundraising target at £200.
“Milly said afterwards that her knees hurt and she was tired but apart from that, she felt ok.”
