Lifesaving charity to host fund-raising Christmas carol service

THE LIFESAVING Air Ambulance Service charity is hosting a Christmas carol service in Rugby next month to keep its helicopters flying and its critical care teams on the road.

The service at St Andrew’s Church will feature uplifting music and festive readings, inviting supporters, families, and friends to celebrate the season and reflect on the power of giving.

As the charity receives no government funding for its daily missions, the Air Ambulance Service relies on donations to stay airborne.

Support raised at the carol service will help fund the work of the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, as well as the charity’s critical care transfers for children across the UK through the National Children’s Air Ambulance.

Events Manager Morgan Turnbull said: “Our Christmas carol services are a meaningful way for us to connect with our communities during a special time of year.

“As a charity funded solely by donations, these events help us sustain our lifesaving missions. Every hymn sung, every donation made, and every person who attends supports our crews and ensures we can be there when seconds count.”

The carol service takes place at St Andrew’s Church on Wednesday December 10. Visit https://events.theairambulanceservice.org.uk/event/air-ambulance-christmas-carol-rugby-25/home for tickets.
