LIGHTNING storms have caused chaos across the county.
Flooding to a number of properties across the county last night (May 27) has prompted a warning from emergency crews to take care due to standing water and flooding on many of the roads.
A number of rivers including River Alne and River Leam, remain on flood alert, with a flood warning for River Swift in Rugby.
And five houses in Warwickshire were struck by lightning, including in Leamington, Kenilworth, Henley and Nuneaton in the early hours of Sunday morning.
An office building in Henley suffered the worst damage, leaving the second floor filled with smoke.
