WORKS by members of the Rugby and District Art Society will go on display at the group’s Annual Awards Exhibition this weekend.
It will feature watercolours, oils, ceramics and work in other media produced by local artists, some of whom are renowned nationally and internationally.
The exhibition takes place at The Barn, Dollman Road, in Houlton on Saturday and Sunday November 19 and 20.
The event is free to members of the public and is open from 10am to 4pm. Original works of art will be on sale.
The awards will be selected by an independent team of judges and awarded by a local dignitary.
The Society holds regular meetings at Dunchurch Village Hall on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm. Most meetings feature a demonstration or presentation by an expert artist.
