WHEN Christmas Comes Around… X-Factor champion Matt Terry performed his festive hit and lit up Rugby when he flicked the switch on the town’s festive illuminations on Sunday (November 18).
He took to the stage to perform other hits including Subeme La Radio and Sucker for You at the town centre event.
The switch-on event, organised by Rugby First and Rugby Borough Council, also featured Santa’s Grotto, children’s entertainment and a firework display.
More attractions were laid on than previous years across a wider area in the town centre, including a funfair in the North Street car park.
