FUND-RAISERS at a Lutterworth logistics company have celebrated a milestone in donations to a children’s hospice.
Core Management Logistics (CML) has raised over £50,000 for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People through a variety of events and initiatives since adopting the charity in 2007.
The landmark figure was reached when the CML Charity and Events Team presented Rainbows with a cheque for £5,000 in January.
Team member Letisha Harbidge said: “Over the years we have held some fantastic events at CML, so we would like to say thank you to everyone who has helped to raise this amount.”
Rainbows’ corporate partnerships fundraiser Emily Wright said: “We are almost entirely reliant on donations to keep providing vital care and support to children and young people with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
“We’re so grateful to CML for their long-standing support, and would like to wish a huge well done and thank you to everybody who has contributed to raising this wonderful amount over the years.”
