KIND fund-raisers from Lutterworth and District Round Table are running their own 12 days of Christmas by donating to 12 charities and good causes selected by their members.
Lutterworth Round Table, currently celebrating its 65th anniversary, raised the funds throughout the year at events including the Lutterworth Dog Festival.
Members were asked to nominate charities that have helped them or causes which are close to their hearts.
This year funds will go to Baby Basics in Leicester, Lutterworth Food Bank, Lutterworth Hygiene Bank, Families Need Fathers, GEMS, Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People, PROSTaid, Community Heartbeat, Andy’s Man Club, Archers Festive Tractor Run, MIND Leicester, and The Air Ambulance Service.
Lutterworth Round Table Chairman Andy Vernon said: “It is great for our members to see the rewards of all their hard work throughout the year and to help support local causes that mean something to them.”
Members will be in Morrisons and Waitrose in Lutterworth in the run up to Christmas to raise more vital funds for local charities and good causes.
